Don't like to take any risks with only one battery, though it seems that it lasts forever...so I need another one for the recently aquired Ds MKIII (used).
I stumbled on this:

....and this:
http://www.ebay.com …Name=ADME:B:WNAFP:US:1123![]()
On the second, the sticker looks exactly the same when compared with the sticker on my "original" battery (ahm....not sure it's original either, though it has a SN and the ex-owner claims to be).
....but...another one, claimed "genuine" and way expensive, looks the same (note the lack of SN here):

More,on the box it's a battery pictured without any imprinted sticker, more like the cheaper clones declared as "not made by Canon":
http://www.ebay.com …kid%3D4323598315017837740![]()
What's the catch?Wich is a clone and wich is a fake?
...and,in the end:if I go for a Canon-labeled one, does it behave OK in the charger and camera? (the "chip thing")
Thank you!
Regards,
PS
I read all POTN threads about Sterlingteks and Hähnels and whatever...good info but they're not available where I live.Aside,a visit to the local Canon dealer revealed that I don't have any more kidneys to sell....
