Snapping in the dark is a tricky business. This event is just about the only time in the year I shoot in total darkness. Just seeing where you're going is challenging enough let alone trying to work out which camera settings will work best

I had a new toy to play with too, Canon 70-200mm 2.8. But rather than show normal race shots here's a few from when it was properly dark. Something a bit different to normal. C&C most welcome.

P.S there was a fairly decent crowd so expecting some others' shots to appear soon. What settings worked for you best? Flash? No flash?

cheers
Az
