1d Nikki vs 7d focus

Can some one tell me if the focus system is better as good or not as good as
I really want a 1d mkiii if the focus system is better

Try rephrasing the question please - this is just not making much sense.

I think he is asking if the focus system in the 1d mkiii is better than that in the 7D. If it is he will get a 1d MkIII, it it isn't he won't, or rather if enough people say it is better he will spend his dollars and if more people say it isn't he won't. Which seems a perfectly logical proposition to me. I can just see him explaining this to his wife - "Why have you spent all these thousands of dollars on a camera", "the people on the net told me to"!!!!

Sadly, I can't give you qualified advice on the focus system, but what the heck, go on buy it!

Long answer short, the 1D series cameras have the best auto-focus systems in the Canon line-up. The AF on the 7D is very good and more than meets the needs of most photographers. Do you have a specific need for a 1D series camera or are you just looking to upgrade?

I am like most people with 1d series cameras. Could use a lesser body and do fine but I drool every time I see one so sooner or later I will have one just because
