I feel like I'm being spoiled with the CF-18 love around here lately but that last one is really nice too lol

Btw we do have hooks but we don't use 'em haha. I believe runways at CFB Bagotville and CFB Cold Lake have cables for 'practicing' lol.

AF and Navy bases in the US have wires as well in case of brake failure...

there ya go, knew there had to be a better reason for them. I watched the Allouette boys snare them when I was a cadet spending my summers on base.

it's rather remarkable that there's even such a group you can join to be part of something like this. I've never heard of anything like it out here.
