Sigma 530 Dead, need a flash in a flash!

My question is two fold. Firstly, my Sigma 530 DG Super slipped out of my radio trigger the other day, falling to the pavement and no longer works (still trying to figure out how it came loose). I have the option to have the flash fixed for $80-$150, or exchange it for the new 610 by trading my broken flash and $195. Don't know if its worth it to upgrade.

Now, my serious dilemma - I need a flash ASAP (by next weekend), and I'm not sure what to get. I was happy with the Sigma, however, within the first month, the "Zoom" jammed up on it at 17mm (without being dropped). Secondly, It didn't fall far, and I'm somewhat disappointed in its lack of strength for the price, maybe I'm expecting too much. It fell about 3 feet and landed on pavement, however, it appears to have broken the internal circuit board as several of the buttons are now recessed to the point they can't be pushed. Thirdly, for the price of the new 560, I can buy a Canon 430 EX II.

I'm not sure I can get a Yongnuo shipped to me by next weekend. Secondly, I don't want to risk it being a dud. I need ETTL, so I'm thinking the Canon 430 EX II is the route I should take. Any other thoughts or suggestions? I know I can buy two Yongnuo 468's for the price of 1 430 EX....

Is the Canon build quality that much better?

Amazon.com's 2nd day and Next Day shipping have never let me down yet, but with "Black Friday" coming up you might find a good deal locally. I have a 430EXII and a 580EXII and both have been good for me, never a problem. I also have 4 Youngno YN560's ( bought them on the reviews of members of this board, never would have bought them otherwise). I have only had them for a month or so (been playing with multiple flash photos) but all have worked flawlessly the few times I used them. Good Luck!

The YN's are available through amazon vendors so you dont have to wait 5 weeks from Hong Kong anymore. But that said, the 430exII's are built solid and are great flashes. Not sure that bouncing off concrete is a objective test for build quality though cause that can kill anything.
