And don't forget that art, true art, is transcendent - timeless - never dies. Because of this, it can be viewed anew by each successive generation. And with each reacquisition by the the zeitgeist it's meaning is fresh and different.

The OP, my original critique, the acronym post and the affirmation of my critique are all nearly a year old. Yet, by the sheer force of their majesty they have burst through the surface once again, like the id grabbing the ego by the throat and shouting "HERE AM I! I SHALL NOT BE DENIED!!."

It embodies the basic tenet of the philosopher Morrison, who once said, "Break on through to the other side".

The most eloquent oration I've ever been exposed to.

Dude, chill out:)

Those of you who want to be impressed with quality photography rather than meaningless eloquent babble, visit his gallery--WOW!

Disciple: "Master, why did Bodhidharma come from the West?"
Master: "Ask that post over there."
Disciple: "I don't understand"
Master: "Neither do I."

Zen again perhaps I was never meant to understand...

Obviously some internal clock has marked this thread for a less than frequent revisit. Perhaps to check on old friends but certainly not to admire new or old artwork again. Perhaps the winter months are more prone to contemplating more productive times.

I will mark my calendar for a return at some convenient time in the distant future. Early December seems to be available.
