I was in Tenn for the AF NCOA. Had a little time to get some shots. First time really trying landscape type shots. Still learning RAW as well so feedback/constructive criticism is welcomed.

Your water shots are great. I especially like those of The Sinks, both color and B&W. The first mountain scene is kind of flat and really no point of interest. The 2nd and 3rd have blown highlights. Even RAW won't help if you over-expose to the point of losing all detail.

+1 on sparker1's comments.

Looking at your EXIF info, it also appears that you are not using sRGB colorspace for the images you export for display on the web. You might try shifting to sRGB for exporting to the web, along with reducing the exposure & brightness, to see if it helps the first three images.

Thanks! I enjoyed getting the water shots. I plan on getting some waders so I can get in the water next time around providing its not too swift and or deep.

Not sure why those shots got blown out so bad. Possibly didn't rotate the CPL well enough? Any suggestions?

I will look into that as well. Thank you!

I like your shots. Now, why are they called the "smokey" mountains again? LOL. 2 and 3 really show it off.

Straightening...lol. Every time I straighten the horizon, I hang the picture crooked.

I checked Lightroom and when I go to export it says it goes to sRGB. Not sure if that is what you were referring to.

Are the images colors off looking?

Nice series. The last shot really nails it imo!
