I'm just starting to process last week's wedding at Wilson Creek Winery here in the Temecula Valley Wine Country.

Great day with Breena and Chris - a fun young couple to work with.

A few images long before the ceremony starts. More work to do. Must be done by Saturday for another wedding at the same venue.....enjoy.....Dan

Some nice images here.

Just make your image size consistent. They all vary in size.

Thanks! We still have a ways to go to complete this wedding. All day today on the Mac!

As far as crop sizes. I assume you are suggesting a consistent crop to show on POTN? We do not crop to any particular photo size like 8x10 or 11x14. Not needed. Our "proof-books" are album style and, of course, a wedding album is totally custom. Sample Album (external link) So we crop the ratio that makes the image appear best to the human eye.

I think they're all great! Except for the first one. I may have liked the first one if the focus was more centered on the ring so that the blue bar of the phone was less in focus and the back of the rings were more in focus. That is definitely a unique shot, something I've never seen before, but I don't find it to be as appealing as the rest.

Yep. I do agree. No excuse ...but...I've done this before...it is the couple's engagement site from several months back...in the moment we had about 30 seconds to setup and shoot this image...again...not an excuse for focus point but didn't even have time to review on the LCD screen. Actually came out better than I thought! ....Dan

Great shots! I love the ring shot. Your processing is very clean and natural looking!

On the wedding party shot, I'm not sure about the men at squatting like that, they don't look very comfortable. And the background has people standing around.
The cake smash would have been a lot better from the other side so you could see her face. Just my two cents, I hope you don't mind a little cc.

CC is welcome. Uncomfortable is good! Sans from the traditional and boring ... people!! I hear ya....it was getting very late....already ISO above 1000 and no time to ask people to move...O' well....we got enough of the "traditional" so I'm not too concerned ....Dan

I like the processing, some look too cold to me though. Not sure about the photo with the groom's head floating in the bush (them kissing)...I wish more of his body was showing.

thanks!

The Adobe Flash web application is called Flipping Book Photographer by Page-Flip (http://www.page-flip.com (external link)). However they no longer make an application strictly for photographers. Market was just too small. The program is general in nature and needs a bit more work to build a simple wedding album for online use.....Dan
