Got out last night and shot a few local boarders... First time shooting this, turned out not bad - need more lighting.

I wish that first shot didn't have the guy filming in it.

Second one i wish you kept the flash off the body just like in the first one, this looks too flat to me.

Any more from that night? I like the idea a lot!

First shot I choose to leave the filmer in the shot, gives it more depth, and if I cut him out then I would have been cutting out the landing... and a snowboarder in mid air, with no landing/takeoff is bad snowboard photo etiquette imo. and yes, the second shot is flat - first shot was lit with construction lights, that we're ligting the jump/rail.

I have a few more from the night - still need some work though. I'll try and post more later - hopefully will be shooting with these local boys all winter - so I will have lots to post.
