Yeah, they were done in a driveway right outside the model's (her parent's) garage.

For 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 I had an Einstein in a 64" PLM (seen in bubble reflections) directly in front, and I shot from almost directly underneath it, right at the light stand. Reflector in her lap trying to fill shadows. Hair light (Einstein in socked beauty dish) behind her camera left (you can see the stand in #2). And an AB400 with 7" reflector 20 degree grid on the ground camera right almost right next to her pointing straight up (hence the light coming from below in #1 and #3). We tried to shoot these on her left side, but bubbles have a way of going where the wind takes them lol.

#4 is a unique, kind of, thing I first tried in this shot (https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1114887)
Same main and reflector as above, directly in front. I took one of those 5-way reflectors, that are oblong, and took all the sheaths off and used the white translucent base as a background with an AB400 gelled green about 6 foot behind it. The hair light is directly behind the translucent background and the shadow of the stand is marginally photoshopped out.

#5 is exactly like #4 except I removed the background and pushed the backlight up and back and removed the gel.

#8 is just a main camera left, fill camera right, hair/rim camera right setup by the tree.

I don't know how I feel about seeing your umbrellas reflected in every bubble, but I think the captures of the bubbles right as they pop are outstanding!

I think the beauty dish might make a better catch light in the bubbles, I agree.

looking at these again, i notice that her hand is cut off in every one of these photos. This doesn't matter for a few of them, but I think you needed to keep all the fingers in 2, 3, and 7

Unfortunately they are at the extent of frame in those shots :(
I'd like to say I easily captured those shots, but there were MANY attempts.

There's always something wrong!
One day I will get everything perfect...then what?

Thanx wiz!

But in this case you don't have blurry motion where there should be none

My main light was firing at 1/4000 sec. Can't remember what the others were firing.

These are amazing, especially 3 and 7. I have no business critiquing work at this level, but would there be a way to photoshop her arm hair in pic 5?
