Canyonlands in bad lighting

I arrived in Canyonlands during an afternoon in April and it was overcast. Wasn't happy with the shots I got from one of the viewpoints.

After some tweaking in Silver Efex, and using the gradient tool (which I learned of both this week):

I usually don't do too much post processing, but I like the result here.
