Anyone have experience with these products? I figure this could be an okay tripod to make due for my 40d before I get a sturdier one (I don't even have one yet)....Just want to make it's not a too good to be true deal.

Edit: for the price I figured I might as well give it a try, better than not having a tripod! Thanks OP!

The BH0 ballhead alone is $47 at B&H if that helps the decision.

The messenger bag looks like an older version of Tenba's present $105 messenger bag which just has more front pockets:

Not necessarily so.

Well, assuming I'll be able to use it of course. I'll soon find out...

Only if you need it. Sort of like ladies buying shoes on sale just because they are on sale, just to let the shoes sit in their closet.

I have the Benro Travel Angel TRAB069 with the B00 ball head. Mine is a step up from this model, but I paid $200 for it without the messenger bag. I love the tripod. It is very compact, light weight, and sturdy.

anyone have the actual weight on this tripod? shipping weight says 2.9lbs which doesn't sound right for an aluminum tripod
