Not familiar with spiders on your side of the Atlantic, but it appears to be some kind of wolf spider....

Think it's a house spider - Tegenaria sp. (not dangerous)

From my understanding the wolf has three rows of eyes, the lower row is made up of two pairs, then the next row is a single pair of larger eyes, and ther third row is are at the side of the head, slightly smaller than the front facing eyes.

I can't see fron that shot if the spider has that eye arrangement,
