Hey all,

Im getting this white dot appear on some, but not all of my pics! Does anyone have any idea what it is ? Could it be dust on the sensor ? If so how to best go about cleaning the sensor. Im shooting a wedding Monday and need it fixed. Any advice is apreciated..

Do you have a filter on the lens? Does this spot appear with all lenses? You can clean your sensor with a DSLR brush that I am sure you can pick up at your local camera store. Most stores will show you how to do it as well but be sure the spot is not on a lens or filter.

What apertures does it show up at?

Good questions. Ive only noticed It on my 24-70, but that is my "heavy" walk around lens. I'll check a few pics and see what aperture they are. If I remember correctly this pic was at 5.6

Something like that should actually be visible on your sensor. Look under the right light. It looks like residue from some type of fluid,

That is a drop of oil on the sensor. You need a wet-cleaning of the sensor.

Yep, I would have linked but I'm on my phone. They have a great step by step guide on wet and dry cleaning your sensor and the required materials.
