The sun is just breaking above the horizon, painting the sides of Cabo San Lucas famous landmark, El Arco..

Larry, its a nice image.
Composition: dont see the point behind all the water in foreground. crop some from bottom and it will be stronger. I also think you needed more room on the right. dont like how the rock is cropped
Processing. Over sharpened, as if your image lacked detail to start with, and you tried to bring it out. may have to do with your sharpening/ reducing algorithm. sharpened water is always a dead give away. Back up on sharpening, and mask the water.

Agree with kevindar. Also think about cropping some of the water...this will lower the horizon line off dead center, plus there's nothing really happening in the water anyway.

I'm guessing the op photo is from a cruise ship. My attached photo is take from the Riu Santa Fe.
You can see there is a different angle as you can't actually see the arch.
Also going back in March...can't wait.
