My Canon 7D developed a horizontal line across my images. This is without any lens attached on a bulb exposure with the mirror up. I've had the camera two weeks!

Canon said the camera would have to be sent in for repair.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Hi Rick,

Straight sharp line (aka sensor/camera problem), or wavy, smudgy line (aka hair on sensor)?

Samples?

Photography is about GEAR and not talent or practice. Practice won't make you a better photographer. Expensive equipment will. =D

Straight line, like in sensor, not wavy. I did try cleaning it, still there. So I shipped it off for a replacement.
