As mentioned in my other post I was fortunate enough to shoot at the Final Day of The Reef Hawaiian Pro Surf Comp at Haleiwa, Hawaiis North shore. This is the opening leg of Hawaiis North Shore surfing comp. This leg was won by our very own Taj Burrows. I was in a bar havin a beer watching it on TV surrounded by locals when he won the event, I gotta say, i felt mighty proud. This is the first time ive shot a surfing event, armed with only the 70-200... Hope you enjoy..

did you tone the pics? they look a lil flat, and any pics in hawaii shuld have a deep blue waters. #3 what ISO where you at?

Nice action shots and good cropping. You did a great job using the 70-200 at Hale'iwa.
