I just got a Canon 180mm macro & these are my first attempts with it.
These are shots of what becomes of Hydrangea blossoms at the end of the season.
I just thought this shadow looked cool.

I really wasn't considering that when shooting these. Ordinarily I am very aware of it. Guess I was concentrating too much on the subject and not enough on the comp. Thanks for the advice.
