Thanks for the comments and advice.
The reason they look awkward was 1) I wasn't very good at giving directions and 2) the guy was not the easiest to work with. He was not comfortable at all the whole day and it definitely showed in the photos. He didn't want to do any kissing, cuddling, or anything like that. Me and my friend (the girl) had to twist his arm just to get him to allow her to kiss him on the cheek and let her sit on his lap/between his legs. There were people around because it was a public place (mostly in Central Park) but still, I had wished he was a little more comfortable and accommodating. I didn't want to push it too much so it is what it is. I totally agree a lot of them looked awkward. The girl was great though. She was comfortable with me and the surrounding.
I didn't even realize that I had posted all sitting poses, I'll post some standing ones underneath.
I also understand the underexposed/lighting comments. Again, I am definitely no pro and had no equipment with me. All I had was a home made reflector, which I didn't know how to use properly anyway. Any tips would be welcomed. I am definitely looking to invest in a flash so any suggestions would be much appreciated.
One big reason I decided to go ahead and do this for them was to gain experience, learn, and hopefully improve. Your comments, criticism, and advice help me do that.
