FP4 had been around quite a while when I started in the mid 70's. Alan Well Alan, I was at school when I started this as a hobby and at the time Panchromatic films and PLATES were only just becoming available - meaning you could not develop the films in a red light any more. (That only happens in WW2 spy films) Ray-P
