Thanks Annie. I saw the potential from a distance and this is a 100% cropped portion of the original image. By the time I'd walked up to where I could fill the frame, the subject had walked away :cry:

Haven't used my little Canon Powershot G11 for some years, but a broken wrist means I can't handle my 5DIV and heavy telephoto, so I got the G11 out of storage. To my surprise, the battery didn't need charging and it wasn't too painful to operate it. I was happy with this shot, which I converted to BW. I liked the lead-in lines and tree shadow in the foreground. It's great to be able to take photos even with my arm in a cast and sling, and I'd forgotten what a capable camera the G11 is.
