+1....I couldn't pass on that either, especially after months of shopping around and only finding it for $2260 shipped as the lowest price from a non authorized dealer.

I really wanted this but was uncomfortable choosing homelessness and pushing a shopping cart after the purchase.

I had to go with the 4L non-IS. I wanted to drive the Porche, but had to buy the Yugo. Still, it has got to be an improvement over the 55-250 kit.

I've been driving Porsches since 1968, they're just cars. That F4 might be the best value in a Canon lens out there, enjoy it.

What do you guys mean by in 'your' gold box. I thought it was the same for everyone. How can I get it aimed at photography gear?

Lol! I understand you well. I click on my Gold Box and I see "KitchenAid Pro 600 Stand Mixers". I have no clue how or why it is there as I have never bought anything remotely related to it, nor do I browse or have any interest in such product. On the other hand, I have bought a decent amount of camera gear on Amazon and I never see anything remotely related to that in my Gold Box. :)
