Well, I mainly shoot sports and some cars here and there but have always lurked around the transportation section and decided I wanted to try some planes. Me and my dad went out to the airport and I tried my luck. Let me know what you guys think!

Yup, it's completely changed over the past couple years with the new terminal and parking set up. Much bigger now!

Thank you for the compliment

I really like that title, may have to steal it for the photo if you don't mind

By all means, go ahead. You also might want to consider changing the word "trip" for "journey"

watch your horizons, make sure they're level. Dont worry, getting wrapped up in the aircraft and blowing the level is perfectly normal.

Coming from sports I should have known better but I honestly didn't even check these when editing them...rookie mistake I guess even though I'm not much of a rookie anymore.

Not too shabby for a first attempt.

As has been mentioned, your horizons are off on a couple but more importantly, consider coming out to this location about 10 hours earlier (if possible) and getting some good morning light on your subjects. You're fighting some pretty harsh backlight in most of these which robs you of contrast and "pop."

Thanks, I will definitely work on fixing the horizons and I completely agree with the lighting. This was kind of an impromptu trip for me and my dad to get some time out shooting together while I was home from school and so we just had to make the best of it!
