that's a beauty Mike
certainly gave me a laugh

This Kookaburra has been a very frequent, all day visitor to our place and rests in many different locations awaiting food.
It was sitting up in the Laburnum and allowed me to get within about 15 metres. It took one long look at me then resumed its reconnaissance of the ground below

I just think these Kookaburras are such cool looking birds. I'd like to see them in the wild. Very nice shot, Richard!

Very nicely composed shot here, Tom! This bird's pose is quite appealing. The cactus alway intrigues me. I can't imagine how they can be so good at avoiding all those spines.

A Mallard hen.

Fantastic shot of this hen mallard, foltoi! She's posed very nicely, and you got some really beautiful colors in this photo.

Good one Mike.
That's the rare and elusive Coot-Hound.

Thanks, Paul. Coot-hound would be a very appropriate name for this rare, elusive dog. We just call them mudhen chasers. :p

This photo was sent to me by an old buddy of mine. It is not my work, but I just had to post it. I still smile every time I look at it.
