Great shot Mike! I don't think I've heard of fox squirrels before.

Thank you Stephen. They are a tree squirrel and quite common through the United States. This particular squirrel resides in our back yard along with it's mate.

Such a beautiful little animal. :-)

Thank you very much, Richard, They are all over our neighborhood, and fun to watch.

A wonderful moment you've caught here Mike. I like the close-up framing and your processing.

Tom

Many thanks, Tom! I appreciate your very kind comment.

Love your Frog shots Stephen!!!

Inspeqtor wrote in post #19307696 (external link)
Just curious... how big are these frogs? either metric or inch will be fine....

Thanks very much Charles! This particular species, which is only found in the wet tropics region in North Queensland, is actually Australia's largest frog species with a body length of up to 13.5 cm (more than 5"). This particular specimen wasn't quite that big though. In contrast, the little green Eastern Sedgefrogs that I often photograph are often less than 2 cm in length. I was up in North Queensland for work last week and found this one not far from where I was staying :)

Thank you! So the frogs you recently photographed at less than 2 cm are less than 1 inch in size. Very interesting they would be that small!
