The sun had just disappeared behind a rocky outcrop and was close to setting anyway, so the lighting was consequently dull and flat and the ISO high. All things considered I was therefore pretty happy with the outcome. We spent several hours tracking Julius as he set up a second attempt at a buffalo calf kill, the capture looking straight down the barrel of my lens being taken whilst he made an indirect loop downwind to set himself up.
