Bought the RF100-500 and it arrived yesterday ofcourse it's bad weather etc. when I get new photogear :-)
I wanted to test the lens but unfortunately not much light these days even in the middle of the day and no snow to Lightning it up a bit either

I know that feeling! I see you upped the ISO. That's the way to go. I could hardly see this blue tit in the dark trees. It was almost a silhouette but the R5 and Lightroom managed to sort it out for me. Enjoy your 100-500. I've only had mine a few weeks and love it, but I can't wait for some decent light.
