So... That barred owl was being harassed by crows, and she was going from tree to tree, perched about 10-15 feet away from me for a few seconds, then she saw the pesky crows coming and leaped off the branch, just passing by me. I had to decide within a split second either to duck or not, I kept my composure and got the shot, I figured she wasn't going for me because she was too occupied dealing with the crows

Usually you see crows being harassed by other birds.
