A falcon perched just past the wall in my back yard. Only had the 18-135 with me and could not get closer. Mainly because the beast in the second photo was right beside me. Even the great falcon does not like my German Shorthaired Pointer.

I am betting this shot could have been easily missed with the Snowy Owl blending in so much to the background.
