In my steel-trap mind, a photo of a critter that just has it's eyes visible in the pic, does not cut it. Now, let me have it…:rolleyes:

Merely visible eyes don't cut it for me, either. In some photos, the animal is actually looking away. My criterion is direct eye contact. Attitude not necessary.

Yeah I agree. The animal doesn't have to be angry but I think it should seem to be saying, "Are you looking at me?". Could be aggressive, threatening, shy, coy, flirtatious, surprised, meek, scared or threatened. Photo quality doesn't much matter for me one way or another in this thread as long as the above criterion is met.


Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.
