Lovely portrait shot of the Canada goose, fotoi! It's so realistic looking!

Great look portrait shot of the moose, sogs! It appears as though you were able to get fairly close to this one.

Thank you LD! Yes, he was just off the road and I was behind the car.

Time waits for no one!

Alligator Bellowing
Mating season has started and the Alligators are bellowing their low pitched rumble.
Happy trails.

Nice captures, Paul! I don't think I'd enjoy hearing that low pitched rumble.:-)

Sorry about chook Clifty but it's a beautiful Hawk. Lovely photos.

On side note, how's the platypus down south?

Gone a bit quiet after the flood mitigation works on Mt river, I'm guessing they will be back in the winter, still see them regularly in the Huon and very active in Geeveston.

Thanks Mike.
The ground vibrates when large groups of Gators start bellowing, during mating season.
Really eerie atmosphere.

Terrific shot of this prehistoric looking creature, Paul! I've only seen one in my life when I was a kid, and I remember how weird I thought it looked. Florida seems like an amazing place to live if one loves wildlife. It's almost like a gigantic zoo.:-)

There certainly is a diverse variety of wild critters to keep us occupied, especially during the Winter months.
Happy trails.
