Thanks for commenting on my posts.
Once I Googled it and found out that Tasmania wasn’t a made up place, I realized why your birds have such exotic colors.
I wish I had more than my one lens to get y’all’s incredible focus.
South Texas has some bland birds.
And grumpy too, but I’m sure this one was looking at me.
This was three feet from my front door.

Thanks too for your input.
Yes, we're fortunate here, but I think mainland Australia has a lot more highly coloured birds.
Happy to live here though.

Those swallows are fascinating to watch and those youngsters inquisitive looking birds.
That's a beauty there
They can be messy though when they chose their nesting site. :-P

Which is why I didn’t include a picture of my porch.
But even our hummingbirds have little color.
Here’s my best hummingbird.
A neighbor put up multiple feeders and his yard swarmed with them.
I had plenty of time to practice.
This one cooperated and flew in front of a window screen.

Great shot of the baby alligator, Paul. I can even see 6 or more smaller fish in the water below him. He appears to have a good food supply.

Thank you kindly Mike.
The little bugger was inquisitive, scanning that area for food.:-)
