Beautiful capture of this gorgeous cardinal, Tom! His red color is so nice and vivid.

Beautiful hen wigeon shot, fotoi! Very nice color.

Very cool shot, Dennis! Sort of a psychedelic colored chap.

Thank you, Mike.

This Bluebottle Blowfly was sunning itself on a wooden beam in the back garden and didn't seem to mind me taking a few shots.:-)

This face on shot is a composite of two frames with the AF on the eyes and then manually moved to along the body, to extend the DOF.

Taken with the Canon RF 100mm F2.8L IS USM macro lens (not yet in database).

Cheers

Dennis

Magnificent!!

Thank you Mike and Charles, it is nice when the subject stays put and allows you to get close up for more than a fleeting second.:-)

we were treated to a spectacle tonight when mother showed junior off. Bennets Wallaby

Hoping for better light but satisfied just to watch them

January this year she had a hairless joey that disappeared shortly after and the mother looked liked she'd been in a rather vicious fight.
I expect this one will soon be hopping about
