1/2 the wildlife doesn't even fit the thread title anyways. few subjects are looking at the camera . even recycling old images to here because there's nothing else to do?

You've made similar comments before, and I'll question it in some cases. I'll note that you can be 90° to the side of some animals such as a rabbit and they will still be looking at you even if their head isn't turned. Prey animals tend to have their eyes placed so they can look at something that is mostly behind them.

I've always felt that good photographs are good photographs ..... whether they 'fit' in a specific box, or not.
At 71, life's too short to sweat the details. :-)
