Probably, yes. It was trying to get hold of stuff that the gulls were dropping from above. There were a few people further away on the beach and it must have got a shock to see me so close by. But I’m guessing it got used to my presence since it did make a few more forays and completely ignored me on those occasions. Not even a sideways glance. I’m glad I got this one shot of it looking straight into the camera.
