Sure was! Taken yesterday 6/14/13. There were a considerable number of the goats there.

What time? I was at the summit around 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and at Summit Lake from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Saw a few Canon users and lenses...

GEWB

Oh my, we were there at almost the same time! I took the pic around 3pm or so, but we had been there since maybe about 2:30pm or so and left around 4pm for the summit. The goats came down from the ridge just to the east of the lake and stayed for a while. There were 3 of us in our party (2 guys and a girl). I was in shorts and Boston baseball cap. Did you have the chance to walk down to the lake? Before the wind kicked up, you could hear the small pieces of ice breaking. It sounded like the faint sound of wine glasses clinking. I saw a few canon users as well including the gentleman shooting with a 500 (drool!).

Yup, saw you there but didn't get a pic of your group.

Did get that wonderful lens...

That probably isn't the first missed meeting. Is there a POTN button to wear at likely shooting locations?

There's no button, but you can get POTN camera straps and patches. LINKY (external link)
