Your first picture reminded me of a shot I took a couple of weeks ago.
This emu is kind of a self-appointed goat guard.
She walks up to you with what can best be described as a cobra like approach.
I know she'll strike so I don't give her the chance... but I know she wants to.
At night it's especially creepy. She has this sound that comes from her throat, like a kind of an eerie percussion instrument. It's the syncopation that somehow freaks me out.
