A very curious Seagull from a recent trip to Barmouth in Wales, think he wanted the chips.

Tough to choose between the two... your foxes and pine martins. I'm a fan of both.

Thanks Kim, the season for these critters is upon us. This time of year I find myself wondering who made it through the summer months not becoming road kill or someones meal ticket. Its a real pain knowing individuals, Its much easier to just drive and shoot never seeing that critter again.

I've become familiar with a few individual birds around here. When they aren't in their usual place, I worry about them. Sort of silly since I couldn't do anything for them, but I still do.

I think I've be even more that way with furry creatures. I've seen foxes around here but only at night when I'm driving home from work. I don't know where they live nor how to find them. I'm not a very good hunter. That and private property around here is usually occupied by gun owners..... and in Florida, this can be problematic. Growing up out West, the gun culture was different. But that was a different time.

I'd love to be able to get to know a family of wild foxes and other critters... but I'll just have to make do with getting cuddles (and the occasional nip) from the captive ones I work with...

If I ever have enough funds, I'm gonna have to visit with you and meet your wild critters myself, yes?

I don't know how unique these foxes are, I think breaking the ice is the first step. I know of a few guys .. some in the Netherlands that have a similar ability to get great images from foxes.
This one is only I would say 9 months,.. I had to go have a look at some of the stuff I did last jan, feb, march, I really like going back through and processing an image or two.. I know I did a few of these back then, everything I'm posting now I'm processing now.

Made it out to Utopia today, this was kinda far away. Fenced in horses are usually shy.

If no one comes from the future to stop you, how bad of a decision could it really be?
