I sure wish those owls were easier to find and get to. I went back for this guy and he/she was right in the middle of a field...getting close was not an option.
The only way I seem to find them and get a picture is by accident. :rolleyes:

For most everything except a few animals its the same for me. coming across them and getting in a position for them to give you an opportunity... Thats the ticket. I think Bears are about the hardest thing for me. its fleeting and about the quickest thing you ever had to get everything right on in under a few mil seconds. I don't think I've had but one time where I had a bear meandering around. me and the 7DII were on the ball for that one. Im just processing these as I text lol

It sure makes it rewarding when you do get the shot. The coyotes are like that for me. Lol!
