It is a great zoo, but I don't like the new restraints they used for the elephants and rhinos. Those thick cables are not photo friendly.


Canon 7D, 5D, 35L, 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.8, 135L, 200L, 10-22, 17-55, 70-300, 100-400L, 500D, 580EX(2).
Sigma 150 macro, 1.4X, 2X, Quantaray 2X, Kenko closeup tubes, Yongnuo YN685(3), Yongnuo YN-622C-TX. Lots of studio stuff.

True, I got lucky the other day and got one of the elephants over near the pool.
I snagged a quick shot from over near the rhino enclosure. This is the only shot I have been able to get without those cables but it's not a very nice background.

Thanks Jeff! This little guy has to be the friendliest Owl I have ever met. If he's not out when I arrive all i have to do is talk to him and up he comes and just sits there and poses. Never seen anything like it.
