I reckon it would be hard to tell if she's pregnant under that luscious winter coat... I suppose she'll disappear for a couple of weeks once she has her kits, and the male will be doing extra hunting to be able to bring food back for her while she suckles the little ones...
You are so lucky to have a family of foxes that come out during the day... ours tend to stick to being nocturnal here...

Yes I agree they do hunt a lot at night. But I find they sleep in the morning and start moving around noon, napping here and there. The Deer Fox Images are right around 3pm I think is the first image. I don't know just where the den is but its around there within a 1/2 km I think, at least buy the tracks I see.
