Here's a shot from the same series. Brown Pelican.

Amazing detail in that, again.
The beak texture is interesting. Like cow horn I've seen and worked. Probably not same in reality.
Clear, sharp eye.
Lovely shot.

Awesome shot of that fantastic animal.
Really nice.

You've been quiet. Was wondering if all was okay.
Guess this answers it.

Hey Richard, I've been out looking for the game.. It's fall here right now.. The leaves are changing to their yellows and reds.. and its moose rutting time. I came home yesterday but missed a really large bull for doing so. O well my friends got some great images of him.

I had an other with me but he lost his nerve and bailed as this guy got to a few feet. Still trying to get close to mr big. Working i the pouring rain is a bit of a pain.

Now that is a magnificent beast.
Actually the rain adds to its appeal.
A competitor round this forum got down to his 100mm for a real closeup.
You might have to change lenses :p Oh yours goes down to that. Oh well!

Another great moose shot, Jeff. This young guy sure has his eye on you.

Not to worry Charles... he knew I was there and walked calmly around eating.. He had no problems with me. I didn't try and sneak up on him. I have shown three different Moose here and they all have reacted exactly the same. I told you I break the rules. lol

Bit close for sure. Very nice photo.
There's a sequence of a black bear helping itself to pear tree. Last one is of the bear in total submission sprawled in front of the camera.
Would Moose succumb to that persuasion? :p
All natter aside, these are beautiful photos. You have a way with your animal kingdom around you.
