Momma mallard is the 2nd from the right, and closest to the viewers. She has successfully reared 8 young which will soon be getting their adult plumage. So, not counting momma, how many of the young will be drakes and how many will be hens?

OK Charles...Judging from the colors of the youngsters bills, it appears that there are 3 females, and 5 males. I certainly could be wrong, but if you read my signature, you see that I'm often mistaken, but never in doubt. :mrgreen: As far as being their cousin, I personally don't know for sure, but my wife feels certain that I am. -?
