Well it could of crawled right up my pants leg if it wanted to. But actually 4 or 5 feet was about it. It was just a tiny little thing and
I was trying to get some snaps before the dog found out what I was doing! Generally, 99.99% of the time I'll have my dog with me, off the leash when we can.
He's good protection but makes getting any quality wildlife shots a real challenge!
