Is that the newer Tamron 150-600 or the older model?

You got some nice photographs, either way. After I save up some money, I'll probably be buying the VII. From what I'm seeing, it seems to be more clear at 600mm than the Sigmas.

I was talking about the ones that are NOT harmless!!

born and raised here, never had an issue with spiders although there is one Id not like a bite from The funnel web but I dont live in Sydney , its actually related to a spider in USA and the same with the red back, its related to the black widow, as for snakes well USA have a few deadly ones. Snakes I've learned to respect, I just watch where i walk in the bush in summer and make plenty of noise so they hear me coming and slide away. Sharks, well I guess they are world wide. Crocs, I've never seen one in the wild because I live south in western Australia and we dont have them. Animals I wouldn't mess with are large male kangaroo that people overseas think are cute and furry, mosquitoes. we dont have bears buffalo or elk to worry about but then I guess like Australians you probably dont have that big an issue with them, Im afraid the media has beat up the dangers in Australia. Id be more worried about humans and their domestic dogs than anything else :-)

Mosquitoes and humans are my pet hates too. Like i said earlier I've been to Aus on several occasions during my seafaring days and what I saw of it was well impressed.

Amazing photos. Really well captured.
I agree with others. What a guts!

Reminds me of a rhyme dad used to say to me as a kid,
What a wonderful bird is the Pelican.
His beak can hold more than his belly can.
He can hold in his beak
Enough food for a week!
But I'll be darned if I know how the hellican

I love those fairy wrens. Really beautiful.
