I had a Westcott Apollo 50" soft box that totally crapped out on me the other day (I mean really just fell apart) and although they are going to replace it, I keep thinking there's got to be something I can do with the reflective interior and diffuser material other than throw it away. Someone suggested to me to make a wooden frame & make my own soft box, which is fine though not very transportable & I don't have a studio to use it in. Any other suggestions?
