5 is my favorite. i'm assuming the ankle crops are due to stage height relative to where you are allowed to shoot from?

you really didnt know who the Goo Goo Dolls were? they are pretty huge! and there were like 3 other sets posted from the past week :)

Yes, after Rene commented on cutting off the feet I now try to leave the edge of the stage in the image ... these are shot kneeling on the floor at about the fifth row as we don't have a pit and don't allow togs in front of guests or against the stage unless requested specifically by the talent, although I can get up against the stage at the sides if we are not restricted to the lightboard or something.

Nope, I had heard the name but had no clue. I am not a big music person ... that is, I love to listen to classical, jazz, blue grass and a smattering of other genres but not in the sense that I know groups, let alone individuals, unless I have been involved with them somehow, such as previously shooting them. My wife loves to laugh at me when I have no idea about groups who are coming to the casino for the first time ... although I did have a clue about KISS, Tony Bennett, Lisa Minelli, Carole King, James Brown and a few others. Please keep in mind that I am old.

I'm not sure but the best stands are with ZZ Top ... they have lights inside that change colors!

You sound like me. So many acts come to town and I've never heard of them. If I know the band they are either huge or old. Fortunately I don't get much competition for those bands.

I've shot Goo Goo Dolls a couple of times, and they're a fun shoot.

Nice work, Dwight!
