I was thinking as this is a new lens and one I've just purchased for wildlife and mostly bird photography, it would be a nice idea to have a post for anyone who's thinking of this lens for birding as a cheaper alternative to canon or nikon's fixed 2.8's.

Both with the 1.4x mk2 Canon, shot at F5.6 420mm

420mm ( canon 1.4x TC ) wide open at F/4 fully processed I'm really happy with the results!
