Just taken delivery of a brand new 5D2 and am checking it out. The AE Lock button does not seem to be doing anything? Any ideas please?
Thanks,
Geoff

Are you trying to use it in manual mode?

AEL does not work on all settings... as just mentioned. Only...P, Tv, Av, M, B, C1, C2, C3. CA and full auto (green square on the dial) disable AEL. Page 98 of your Owner's Manual.
