The OneLight DVD by Zach Arias is on sale for 50% off until midnight EST tonight is anyone is interested. I haven't seen it myself, but read enough great reviews to pick one up today.

Nice deal but he makes up for it in shipping - to Canada anyway he wants $30.00 to ship his DVD. I passed.

Ouch, that's steep. I thought the $11 I had to pay was bad.

I can't say for sure, but many people paid much, much more for it (it used to be around somewhere around $225 or more) and have had lots of good things to say about it. Perhaps this thread might help.

Its well worth MUCH more than $75. I paid $125 on Black Friday 2010 and the strobist knowledge I gained was incredible.

It really depends on what level you are at. The more of a strobe beginner you are, the more it will be of value. I would say by the time you are a strong intermediate shooter, it is pretty much known knowledge.

I would highly suggest it for a beginner even at full price. But a pass for an intermediate.

I bought it at the $225 price and got quite a bit out of it at that time...all the internet reading is helpful, but it was awesome to hear what he's thinking about, what he's considering. he talks about what is and isn't working. Cool to see his...creative process. Definitely worth that price.

Atually, I hope it's ok to post this here but I would sell my copy, watched 2-3 times for $50 shipped to the US. Shoot me an email, krannichfeld@gmail.com (external link) =) or a pm. Perfect condition.

Actually there is more value in this than a lot of people think. Its not always about the numbers, sometimes it is simply if it is working or not. Hearing someones thought process can help just as much as anything else.

I had read the Strobist blog for several months before picking up Zack Arias' One Light DVD. The steps Hobby discussed made sense but it was hard to see what actually happened on the finer details. Arias' DVD shows you those differences which helped me substantially.
